Newly Renovated Cincinnati Music Hall Debuts With Grand-Opening Celebration

The Cincinnati Music Hall was in major need of a makeover before it closed for renovations in June of 2016. After all, it first opened its doors in 1878, so there had been a lot of wear and tear on the building. Plus, the theater was outdated in terms of accessibility, comfort, and aesthetics. Now more than a year later, the freshly revamped Music Hall is ready to reopen its doors to the public this October.

Cincinnati will celebrate all October and November long with special weekend events to commemorate the grand opening. The official opening ceremony will unfold on October 7th, with a series of performances by the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and the Cincinnati Ballet throughout the month. To cap off the festivities, the Cincinnati Opera will host its 2017 Opera Ball on Saturday, November 18th.
