Saddle Up for a Feast of Wings and Beer at The Pony, a New Bar in OTR

Your average bar might not earn raves for its food, but The Pony is different. Since it opened in Over the Rhine on November 1st, The Pony's chef has earned lots of devoted fans, despite the small size of the food menu. Patrons gush about the perfectly seared chicken wings, which come with an equally popular ranch or bleu cheese dressing. For something more filling, order a turkey club, a chicken finger sub, or the fish fry (available on Fridays only).

Don't get so caught up in the food that you forget to try one of the brews or cocktails, though. The Pony always has a few craft beers on tap, like the Lift Kolsch from Cincinnati's own MadTree Brewing. If you opt to warm up with a cocktail, try the hot cider with a splash of bourbon or rum or the Continental Colt, a decadent blend of vodka, Kahlua, and milk infused with the flavor of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal.
