How to Spend the Fourth of July in Cincinnati
There's plenty to do in Cincinnati this Independence Day; it's really just a matter of narrowing down your options. The fun actually begins a day before the 4th of July on Monday, the 3rd. Head to Larosa's Balloon Glow at Coney Island around 8 p.m. to gaze up at hot air balloons set aglow against the backdrop of the dark night sky, following by Rozzi's Fireworks display over Lake Como at 10 p.m. Or head right to America's Celebration Newport Motorcycle Valley before taking in the fireworks.
On the actual 4th of July, check out the Cincinnati Pops as they perform patriotic tunes at the Riverbend Music Center, or celebrate Fort Thomas's 150th Birthday. Join in festivities and fun at the Ault Park Independence Day Celebration, or enjoy the rides at Stricker's Grove. Regardless of which event you choose, all of them end in fireworks on July 4th!
