Lace Up Your Sneakers for the 109th Annual Thanksgiving Day Race

The Thanksgiving Day Race has been a tradition in Cincinnati for more than a century. In fact, this year marks the 109th birthday of the first Turkey Day run, making it one of the very first races of its kind in the country. And while it’s rooted in Cincinnati, the Thanksgiving Day Race often includes people from around the world—like the active-duty soldier, Jay, who will be running the race virtually overseas as his daughter runs it back in Cincinnati.

Join the runners from around Cincinnati and around the world to raise money for local charities the morning of Thanksgiving. The race stretches 10K, which is a little more than 6.2 miles, so it’s a great challenge if you’re ready to graduate from 5K runs. Register online ($40) and be ready to run at Paul Brown Stadium by 9 a.m. on Turkey Day.
