‘Tis the Season for Holiday in Lights

If you want to enjoy the splendor of the season without braving the cold, Holiday in Lights at Sharon Woods might be the perfect outing. Every year for nearly three decades, this special lights display has transformed a mile of the park’s woodsy roadway into a winter wonderland, and this year is no different. Holiday in Lights kicked off in mid-November and will remain in town through New Year’s Eve.

Head to Sharon Woods with a car full of friends and switch the radio to Warm 98 for a festive soundtrack. Then slowly roll along the mile-long trail of lights, taking in the illuminated silhouettes of holiday trees, Santa’s workshop, and prancing reindeer. Once you get to the end of the display, stop at Santaland in the Sharon Centre for some hot cocoa and live caroling. Admission to Holiday in Lights is charged per car and starts at $15.
