You&#39;re not alone.  A desire to keep things chic and simple can lead to a boring, drab design if you aren&#39;t careful. A great way to add some pizazz to your home is to bring the color in. Here are three easy ways to incorporate a pop of color into your apartment.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Add an accent wall. <\/strong>Even if your lease doesn&#39;t allow you to repaint, you can use temporary wallpaper, which will peel right off when you move. Pick a wall (or even the ceiling) and your favorite color, then find a shade of paint or a pretty patterned temporary wallpaper and make that surface the bright focal point of your room.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Opt for pillows and throws. <\/strong>If you don&#39;t want to commit to an accent wall, you can always bring in a pop of color using throw pillows or blankets, even a small area rug. These pieces are relatively cheap and easy to replace or rearrange if you don&#39;t get it right the first time.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Create a blank canvas using neutrals.<\/strong> Perhaps as important as the color itself, the neutral background you lay down is going to make a big difference when it comes to your new accent.
